Everything Your Baby Needs, In One Place
Feeding, oral motor development, communication, myofunctional support, and resources for your baby’s first two years.
You noticed something. Maybe it's a clicking sound during feeds. Maybe it's a lip that won't flange, or a baby who arches and fusses at the breast. Maybe introducing solids hasn't gone the way you expected, with gagging, refusal, or a baby who just won't move past purees. Maybe you just want to make sure you're not missing anything in this fast, blurry first year.
This is your baby hub. Everything we offer for infants and new parents, in one spot, from one-on-one therapy to free classes to the guide thousands of parents already use.
You don't have to piece this together on your own anymore.

Ways We Help Your Little One Bloom
Tongue Tie & Lip Tie Support
Tongue ties and lip ties get missed constantly, even by well-meaning providers. A clicking sound during feeds. A lip that won't flange out. Reflux that never quite responds to medication. Poor weight gain that no one can explain. These aren't just "normal baby stuff." Sometimes they're a tie.
We look in the mouth. That's the difference. We assess tongue and lip mobility as part of every infant feeding evaluation, and we partner with a local tongue tie release provider serving Lodi and Stockton, so families don't have to drive to the Bay Area or piece together care from strangers on the internet. We don't jump straight to a release, either. We check readiness, walk you through every step, and build a plan, not a protocol.
Infant Feeding and Myofunctional Therapy
Myofunctional therapy sounds clinical. Here's what it actually means: how your baby uses their tongue, lips, and cheeks to eat, breathe, and eventually talk. When those muscles aren't working together, feeding gets hard, and it can quietly affect sleep, breathing, and speech down the road.
We treat the muscle patterns behind the struggle, not just the symptom in front of you. That's the difference between a baby who "eventually grows out of it" and a baby who actually resolves it.
What we look for and support:
Latch difficulty, clicking, or falling off the breast or bottle repeatedly
Reflux-like symptoms that don't improve with medication
Excessive gas, spit-up, or a baby who seems to swallow air
Poor weight gain or slow, exhausting feeds
Early signs of mouth breathing or restricted tongue mobility
Blooming Babies Academy
A space to bring your baby, ask your questions, and stop guessing whether what you're seeing is normal. Blooming Babies Academy is our Mommy & Me program for babies birth to 6 months, built around early communication, feeding, play, and connection, led by an SLP who's lived this as a mom too.
The Blooms Blueprint
The guide we wish existed when we were new parents. The Blooms Blueprint is a complete roadmap for your baby's first two years, covering milestones, feeding, oral motor development, sleep, play, and connection, plus advocacy scripts so you always know what to say at the pediatrician.
Parents use it to spend a few minutes a day feeling informed instead of overwhelmed. It comes with the Bloom Tracker, a milestone tool that turns "something feels off" into specific, treatable language you can actually bring to your doctor.

Common Questions About Infant Feeding, Tongue Ties, and Lip Ties
-
The most common signs are a clicking sound during feeding, difficulty staying latched, falling asleep quickly without feeling full, slow weight gain, and reflux-like symptoms that don't improve with medication. A tongue tie restricts how far and how well the tongue can move, which makes efficient feeding harder.
-
A lip tie often shows up as a lip that won't flange outward during feeding, a clicking or smacking sound, milk leaking from the corners of the mouth, and a baby who swallows extra air and seems gassy or fussy afterward.
-
It's therapy that addresses how your baby's tongue, lips, and cheeks move and work together for feeding, breathing, and future speech. For infants, this often looks like guided feeding sessions and oral motor exercises rather than anything a baby "does" on their own.
